That bastard tried to KILL me. He tried to fucking stab me!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yes, activate the AFA. Do it.

And Amelia, who exactly tried to stab you? The virus? Superintendent?

    ReplyDelete
  10. I *really* don't think a virus can actually stab someone.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I think I've managed to get some progress on contacting Cerberus....or at the very least pissing off some of the people here who have been watching me.

Went for a walk last night and someone cracked me over the head with something. I think it was a crowbar. my Gordon Freeman wanna be told me to stay out of it or I'd get worse, and then ran.

Didn't try and rob me. Wasn't full of rage. just a simple 'drop it' message.

That somehow scares, and yet drives me forwards even more.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Rob, you haven't played Prototype, have you? ;D

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yes, Yes I have. I'm trying to be genre savvy, but I'm not sure if I'm currently stuck in a tragedy, a horror, or a mindfuck story.

  16. Trinity, that's been answered. It's not TOO hard to read 10 comments, is it?

Hakurei, true, but... VIRUS is kind of... unintelligent. And said not to activate it. I doubt he is capable of reverse psychology. Also, the name seems promising.

Not the fucking virus. The bastard who died on the Solstice. He tried to stab me. Half fucking dead and he tried to fucking stab me. Fucking bastard.

    Diggy Diggy Hole to China

    ReplyDelete
  33. ...... Holy crap those are amazing.

Ok, describe 'Diggy Diggy Hole to China' for me.

    ReplyDelete
  34. In beginning to dig a hole through the world you encounter a large cave system.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Awesome.
    I look around.

    ReplyDelete
  36. You are obviously in a cave, but it is very dark. You cannot see anything besides your own hands. However, you have a rucksack that may contain useful items.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I check my rucksack, and my pockets.

    ReplyDelete
  38. The rucksack contains:
    A bundle of ten torches
Two boxes of matches, twenty each
    A chocolate bar
    Five flares
    A 50-ft grappling hook

    Your pockets contain:
    An apple
    A butterfly knife

    ReplyDelete
  39. I use the matches to light one of the torches. I carefully walk forward, not forgetting my stuff, and keep one hand on the pocket that contains the knife.

    ReplyDelete
  40. You manage to get a pretty good idea of the main cave you are in. It is about 15 feet high and is 60 feet by 20 feet around the sides. Above you, there is a small tunnel that appears to wind around. It is the tunnel you fell in through.

There are two passages leading west, one north, and one south. The eastern wall is a bright green and is squishy.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I walk up the the eastern wall, and hold my torch up to it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. In a one-foot radius around the source of the flame, the wall turns a much darker green. You hear a bubbly purring noise, as one might expect from a cat made of Jell-O.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Against all my survival instincts, I move the torch closer to the wall, and begin walking along side it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The closer the warmth is to the wall, the darker the green gets. The purring noise continues, but other than that nothing new occurs as you walk up and down its length.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I jab my knife into a random portion of the wall, then jump back and run to the west.

    ReplyDelete
  46. You run so far away you cannot see if it had any effect.

    ReplyDelete
  47. SERIOUSLY? Ok whatever. I go into the western entrance that's on the right. I keep a lookaout for any movements and forms of life.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The tunnel quickly turns into a very windy one, but glowworms line the walls, making a soft hum that keeps you occupied during your journey. Eventually you come to an intersection with a signpost. The sign pointing forward says "Super Happy Fun Time," the sign pointing right says "Super Deadly Death Time," and the sign pointing the way you came says "Super Slimy Slime Time."

    ReplyDelete
  49. ...I go to where the Super Happy Fun Time sign is pointing.

    ReplyDelete
  50. As soon as you can no longer see the intersection behind you, you enter a ballroom-sized cave with a huge, deep-looking ball pit in its center.

    ReplyDelete
  51. That's scary.

I hastily make my way back to the Slimy room, and go into the other western passageway. I still look out for movement and any signs of life.

    ReplyDelete
  52. After only a few minutes of walking, you find yourself at another intersection. The sign pointing left says "Super Slimy Slime Time," the sign pointing right says "Super Happy Fun Time," and the sign pointing the way you came says "Super Deadly Death Time."

    ReplyDelete
  53. OK.

I briefly consider cutting open my throat with the butterfly knife, but then decide to go back to the room where I started, quickly run into the first west passage, then go towards where the 'Super Deadly Death Time' sign is pointing.

    ReplyDelete
  54. It feels as if you have been walking forever, but you find yourself in a room that looks suspiciously similar to the ball pit room, with three exceptions: 1) The pit is empty; 2) There seems to be a lot of heat rising rapidly from the pit; 3) There is a large hole in the ceiling that the heat is rising into.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I go towards the pit, and look up into the hole up top. I get ready to jump back, and draw my knife.

If nothing attacks/surprises me from the top, i drop a lit flair into the pit below.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The flare is caught by the rushing heat and flung upwards. It disappears into the ceiling.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Awesome.

I wait about 5 minutes, waiting for something to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  58. At the three-minute mark, the heat dies down. You see a small red light fly downwards at high speeds. This lapse lasts about one minute. Afterwards, the flare rushes upwards again. It has died out.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I stick my head out again, and look both up and down.
    ----
If nothing happens, or it is same as before, i go to the Happy room, and dive into the ballpit.

    ReplyDelete
  60. You dive into the ball pit. As you do, you smell burning plastic. You forgot to put out the torch. Oh well. It probably won't end up making anything bad happen.

You sink among the multicolored spheres. After a time you touch the bottom.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Wow. Ok. Specific little AI.

Ok, I move until I get to a wall, and then I circle the ball pit. Also, I put out my damn torch. If at any point I atart running out of air, I 'swim' back up to the surface.

    ReplyDelete
  62. The wall is mostly smooth, but you locate a small bump.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I press on the bumb. Hard.

    ReplyDelete
  64. The bump is depressed, and slides into the wall. You cannot really see what is happening, but you are suddenly swept out an opening by the escaping plastic. You are now in a long stone hallway with wooden doors lining the sides. Plastic balls are scattered at your feet. It would be very hard to go back the way you came, but it would be possible if you left your rucksack here.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hell no, I like mt rucksack.

I light another torch, and walk to the first door and examine it. I then open it.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Inside is a quilted bed, a bookshelf with one or two small volumes on it, and a rock.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I check out the books, then move on to the rock. I hold my torch to it, so I can see it better, and pick it up, I examine it from all sides.

    ReplyDelete
  68. One of the books is an "Asterix and Obelix" comic. The other is Thomas Paine's Common Sense.

The rock has strange sigils inscribed on it.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I put the rock in my pocket and then ironically set my crap down next ot the bed, lie down, and flip through 'Common Sense.'

    ReplyDelete
  70. You feel educated on matters of the eighteenth century. The rock vibrates gently.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I take the rock out an examine it as I get ready to leave the room.

    ReplyDelete
  72. The rock stops vibrating, but feels warm. As you leave the room you notice an inscription on the door. It matches the largest symbol on the rock, and has a portrayal of a lightning bolt striking it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Where's Setoth when you need him?
    Err.
    Hmm.
...I rub the matching sigil onto the sigil on the door.

    ReplyDelete
  74. You slightly chip the wood of the door.

    ReplyDelete
  75. T.T
Out of pur rage at the thought of being sued for vandalims, I chuck the rock at the nearest wall.

    ReplyDelete
  76. A deafening explosion knocks you to the floor, and a second one knocks you out. When you come to, you realize there was no explosion - just the sound. It is a thunderstone.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Awesome. I pocket the stone... carefully...
I examine the hallway, and count the number of doors.

I then go to the second door, and examine it. Then, I go inside, and examine the insides.

    ReplyDelete
  78. There are exactly four doors on either side.

The second door has a similar symbol on it, but instead of a lightning bolt it shows a raindrop. Inside the room, there is a full bookshelf and another rock on the floor.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I pick up the rock, then throw it outside.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Upon impact with the wall, water gushes out from the rock. In total it leaves about a gallon of water sprayed around the floor and walls before petering out. However, it then falls to the floor and, upon impact, spews another gallon of water. Your socks and shoes are now very wet.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Cool. I pick up my rock, put it in my pocket pocket. I make sure it's a different one than the thunder rock.

Then, I go to the room, take off my shoes and socks, fasten a torch on the wall close to them, and leave them to dry. Then, I get on the bed, and read through the books on the shelf.

    ReplyDelete
  82. The flame burns long but not particularly hot. It takes a few hours to dry your garments, and in that time you manage to finish Romeo and Juliet.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Cool.I put on my shoes/socks, gather up my stuff, and move on to the third door. Of course, I examine it, and the room itself.

    ReplyDelete
  84. The third door has a similar symbol on it, but instead of a lightning bolt it shows a cloud-shape. Inside the room, the top and bottom shelves of the bookcase are full, and there is a rock on the floor.

    ReplyDelete
  85. You know the drill.

    ReplyDelete
  86. On the first hit, you and everything that's not nailed down begin to rise up from the ground. When the rock hits the floor, you fall and slam into the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Cool. I pocket the rock, and then repeat everything on the final door.

    ReplyDelete
  88. The fourth door has a similar symbol on it, but instead of a lightning bolt it shows a star. Inside the room, the bottom shelf of the bookcase is full, and there is another rock on the floor.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I chuck the rock into the hallway, and brace myself.

    ReplyDelete
  90. The wall moves a few feet closer to you. When it hits the floor, you feel yourself get a few feet closer to the luckily tall ceiling.

    ReplyDelete
  91. BADASS. I carefully put it in a pocket, then go to the first door on the left side of the hallway, and enter/examine errthing.

    ReplyDelete
  92. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I get the fuck outta there, and move on to the next door.

    ReplyDelete
  94. It is very very bright. You can barely see anything.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I (don't) see..

Well, first, I want to save my game under username Zabulon and password **********

    ReplyDelete
  96. OK, I go back to the dark room, and I use my water stone.

    ReplyDelete
  97. The water begins to wash away the darkness, leaving streaks of light as if they were being erased from a whiteboard. After repeating this several times, the room is visible. It is a long hallway with a treasure chest at the end of it.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Even though it won't do me any good, I draw my knife, and carefully proceed towards the chest.

    ReplyDelete
  99. You now stand in front of the chest. It is easy to see that it is locked, but there is an indentation in the front that would easily fit one of your rocks. The chest is marked with a symbol of a raindrop.

    ReplyDelete
  100. I insert the water rock into the indentation.

    ReplyDelete
  101. The chest opens. Inside is a single copper piece.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Hm. OK, I pick up and examine the piece, and then pocket it.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Taken. It has no designs on it, but is perfectly round.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Out of curiosity, i use it on each of the stones. If nothing happens, I toss it against the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  105. The coin clatters to the ground.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Boo. Whatever. I pocket it, and move to the next door. Before I open it, I save it under the same file again.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Saved. It is very very bright. You can barely see anything.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I use the thunder rock.

    ReplyDelete
  109. You are nearly deafened: the sound of thunder is amplified by the room. However, as your ears start ringing, something shifts in your vision, and you can now see the room clearly. It is a long hallway with a treasure chest at the end of it.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I walk up to it, and examine it.

    ReplyDelete
  111. You now stand in front of the chest. It is easy to see that it is locked, but there is an indentation in the front that would easily fit one of your rocks. The chest is marked with a symbol of a lightning bolt.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I put the lightning bolt stone into the chest hole.

    ReplyDelete
  113. The chest opens. Inside is a single silver piece.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Tablet, please send a shipment of cure to the Institute. They'll get it to me.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Input accepted. Response: A shipment will arrive at the Institute within twenty-four hours.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I take the piece and move on to the next door.

    ReplyDelete
  117. The floor is broken up in wide chunks too large to jump across. Other than that, you can see that it is a similar hallway with a treasure chest at the end of it.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I use the wall-moving stone to get rid of the gaps.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Unfortunately the wall-moving stone does nothing and you barely grab it before it falls into the unending abyss.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I use my only other stone, the gravity stone.

    ReplyDelete
  121. You begin to float slowly upwards.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I save3 the game under the same file, then attempt to float forward, towards the chest.

    ReplyDelete
  123. You flail wildly in midair.
